WHO WE ARE
We are a team of professionals leading a student chapter of The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) in Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT). Our student chapter plays an important role in PSUT campus by starting “Go Green” campaign, with some actions, even little ones, we're making PSUT campus a much more sustainable and eco-friendly. Also we share awareness to open members eyes to truth – the climate change, the plastic pollution, etc. We're glad to lead this positive impact, that we may protect the environment together and live a sustainable life.
WHAT WE DO
AEE PSUT student chapter offers a full array of informational outreach programs in order to fill the gap between Academia and the market needs including workshops, site visits, lectures, voluntary works, seminars (live and online), conferences, journals, books, and certification programs. AEE's network the local chapters and meets regularly to discuss regional issues.
The mission of AEE is to promote the scientific and educational interests of those engaged in the energy industry and to foster action for Sustainable Development and to graduate energy managers that help institutions save on energy costs so they can better serve their communities.
ABOUT AEE
The Association of Energy Engineers® (AEE®), founded in 1977 by Albert Thumann, is a nonprofit professional society of over 18,000 members in more than 100 countries. The mission of AEE is “to promote the scientific and educational interests of those engaged in the energy industry and to foster action for Sustainable Development.”
The Foundation of the Association of Energy Engineers is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to furthering education in energy and management. To date, the Foundation has awarded over $1,000,000 in scholarships for use by outstanding students.
ABOUT PSUT
Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT), established in 1991, is a specialized, Non-governmental, Non-profit, Jordanian university, owned by the leading applied research centre in Jordan, the Royal Scientific Society (RSS). PSUT's area of specialization is IT, Communications and Electronics. As a nonprofit institution, PSUT embraces both the public and private sectors, but while akin to public universities in its mission, it is more aligned to the private sector in drive and spirit.
